Tutwiler Community Center Reopens with AfterโSchool Basketball, PopโIn Open House, and Summer Club
The Tutwiler Community Education Center is back with afterโschool basketball (ages 6โ12, starts April 27), a PopโIn open house (April 30, free food), and Summer Club (June 1). Led by Coach Bernard Berryhill, 2016 NFHS State Coach of the Year. No minimum activity fees. Call (662) 345-8393.
Belzoni Club Grand Opening: A New Chapter for Youth in Humphreys County
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta has opened its newest location in Belzoni at the White Star Baptist Church Complex (614 George Lee St). The Club features two rooms: a main programming area with tables and chairs, plus a computer lab with 10 computers, printers, and a reading corner. The Club is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
