Empowering the Future with Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta
We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Caesars Foundation, which generously awarded us a $10,000 grant through the "Caesars Makes Change" initiative. This grant supports our Future Ready goals, enhancing career exploration and workforce readiness experiences for our Club members.
A Day of Career Exploration and Real-World Learning
In September 2026, we took 15 Club members from Clarksdale and Jonestown to visit the Isle Casino Hotel Lula for an exciting day of career exploration and hands-on learning.
Throughout the visit, our members had the opportunity to learn about several realistic career opportunities within the property. They met with team members and learned about the important roles of:
Security Officer
Slot Attendant
Hotel Front Desk Employee
Table Games Team Member
Food & Beverage Staff
Each department provided an introduction and shared information about what their jobs involve and what it takes to work in their field. Members also toured the Human Resources Department and several other departments throughout the hotel, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at how everything works together.
The children were highly engaged and enjoyed learning directly from the professionals. After the learning and touring, everyone enjoyed a fresh meal provided for the group.

About the Partnership
The Caesars Foundation, alongside the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica and now the Isle Casino Hotel Lula, has been an incredible partner, providing not only financial support but also volunteer assistance. Their contributions enable us to engage our members in fun, impactful programs that inspire growth and learning.

This grant and partnership help us provide exciting career exploration activities and create opportunities for our members to dream big and achieve more. Through hands-on learning experiences like this career exploration trip, we are preparing our youth for bright futures in the hospitality industry and beyond.
