    Mr. Edward E Johnson Jr.

    Board President

    Ed Johnson currently serves as Vice President of Operations for the Mississippi Division of Atmos Energy Corporation. Ed is a native of Jackson MS and began his career with Atmos Energy in October of 2007. He is a graduate of Leadership Greater Jackson (2016), and Leadership Mississippi (2019) programs. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupation Safety and Health from Murray State University. He has been a board member of the Boys & Girls Club of the Mississippi Delta for 3 years and recently elected as Board President.

    Ms. Bethany Tarpley

    Vice Chair

    Bethany is a partner with Jacks Griffith Luciano and has been involved with the Boys and Girls Club of the Delta since moving to the Delta over ten years ago. She has served in numerous roles, first on one of the local boards, then as President of the organization, and has now happily passed that job on to serve as Vice President. She, like Whitney Houston, believes that children are our future, and believes that the BAGC teaches them well and lets the lead the way, showing them all the beauty they possess inside.
