Why should you support Boys & Girls Clubs?

Through a network of seven Club locations and two Community Impact Sites across the Mississippi Delta, we provide a safe and nurturing environment where children and teenagers, aged 6-18, can thrive.
Our programs span five fundamental areas, including Education & Career Development, Character & Leadership Development, Health & Life Skills Development, Sports, Fitness, & Recreation, and The Arts. These offerings are tailored to grow with each Club member as they progress through our organization.
By fostering mentorship, offering a secure space, and delivering innovative, high-quality initiatives, we ensure every child has the opportunity to forge a bright future.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta exists to address crucial challenges faced by youth in the Mississippi Delta region. We recognize that many young people, particularly those in underprivileged circumstances, lack access to safe, constructive environments and meaningful opportunities for growth and development.
We aim to counteract this by providing a network of seven Clubs and two Community Impact Sites where children and teens can engage in structured programs focused on education, character development, health, fitness, and creative expression. By doing so, we address issues related to educational gaps, lack of positive role models, and limited access to extracurricular activities.
Ultimately, our existence is centered around ensuring that every young person, regardless of their background, has the chance to reach their full potential and become productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

Through our dedicated efforts, nearly 2,000 young individuals are served annually, and an additional 3,000 are reached through outreach programming. Our core programs, spanning education, character development, health, fitness, and the arts, provide a comprehensive framework for personal growth.
The impact is evidenced by the impressive statistics: 90% of Club Members anticipate graduating high school, while 72% foresee completing post-secondary education. Moreover, the Clubs' annual member survey indicates that 84% rate their overall experience as optimal, demonstrating the effectiveness of the organization's approach.
Through mentorship, safe spaces, and innovative programming, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta is instrumental in shaping the future of these young individuals, setting them on a trajectory towards success and responsible citizenship.
