Welcome, Brandon Gordon: Our New Greenwood Club Director!

Brandon Gordon

We are thrilled to announce that Brandon Gordon has been named the new Club Director of our Greenwood Unit!

Brandon is no stranger to our Greenwood Club, having served as Program Coordinator since the Fall of 2025. In that time, he quickly became a favorite among our members and staff, known for his natural ability to connect with young people and create meaningful, positive experiences for them.

"Brandon connects naturally with young people," said Cam Abel, our Chief Operating Officer. "He understands how to turn that connection into opportunities for them to learn and grow."

In his new role, Brandon will oversee daily operations, manage staff, coordinate our diverse programs, and build partnerships—all to ensure the Greenwood Club remains a safe, welcoming, and fun place for youth after school.

He’s already hit the ground running, helping to engage new donors and volunteers and leading upgrades to our popular "Reward Room."

“I want kids to feel proud of their Club and excited to be here every day,” Brandon shared. “When they walk through our doors, I want them to know this is a place that believes in them.”

Brandon succeeds Kambreca Mitchell, who has moved into the role of Club Director at our Itta Bena Unit on the campus of Mississippi Valley State University. We are grateful for her service in Greenwood and excited for her next chapter.

“We are equally excited about Mr. Gordon and the energy and leadership he brings to Greenwood,” said CEO David Dallas.

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Brandon Gordon as he steps into this vital leadership role! We are confident his passion and dedication will inspire our members and strengthen our impact throughout Leflore County.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta provides a safe place, caring mentors, and life-enhancing programs for over 1,500 youth across the Delta. Learn more about our work and how to support us at www.bgcmsdelta.org.

Brandon stands in the newly organized reward room at the Greenwood Club on Carrollton Ave.
