Club members from across the Mississippi Delta gathered at SPROUT Park for an organization-wide Field Day sponsored by TrueCare Delta Fresh Foods Initiative—complete with ring toss, three-legged races, fresh food, and medals!

DHA STEAM Team brought edible DNA, static electricity, balloon cars, indoor snow, and more to Greenwood & MVSU Clubs on July 9. Hands-on experiments sparked curiosity and built confidence in our young scientists.

On July 17, 2026, young athletes from Boys & Girls Clubs across the Mississippi Delta gathered at Mississippi Valley State University for an unforgettable tennis meetup. Thanks to the USTA Southern Rural Grant Initiative, kids who may never have picked up a racket got the chance to play, learn, and build life skills like determination, teamwork, and self-belief. 125 guests gathered in Holmes County for A Night at the Oscars, raising $5,000 for the Lexington Boys & Girls Club. With inspiring words from Dr. Jennifer Young Wallace, elegant silver and yellow decor, and a community united for youth, the event celebrated local heroes and funded AAU basketball, SMART Girls, and daily snacks. The Club looks ahead to its 10th Annual Fundraiser in May 2027.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta launches its first formal Annual Campaign with a goal of raising $80,000 to support youth programs across eight Delta counties. More than $32,000 has already been committed. Join us in helping local kids reach their full potential.

With heavy hearts, we reflect on the life of Steven “Craig” Thompson, a dedicated Youth Development Professional at the Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland. Though his time with us was short, Craig’s impact as a teen mentor, Special Olympics coach, and ACT Prep teacher was unforgettable. His legacy of compassion and commitment will forever remain part of our Club family.

The Tutwiler Community Education Center is back with after‑school basketball (ages 6–12, starts April 27), a Pop‑In open house (April 30, free food), and Summer Club (June 1). Led by Coach Bernard Berryhill, 2016 NFHS State Coach of the Year. No minimum activity fees. Call (662) 345-8393.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta has opened its newest location in Belzoni at the White Star Baptist Church Complex (614 George Lee St). The Club features two rooms: a main programming area with tables and chairs, plus a computer lab with 10 computers, printers, and a reading corner. The Club is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
