Are you a fan of handmade quilts? Do you want to support a great cause while potentially winning a beautiful and unique piece of art? Look no further than the Handmade Quilt Raffle Fundraiser, benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta, Yazoo City Club Site!
The raffle is made possible by the generous donation of a handmade quilt by Marie "Myrtle" Pitts, a talented quilter and Unit Director Judy Abels' aunt. Despite being homebound at 84 years old, Aunt Myrtle continues to pursue her passion for quilting and giving back to her community by donating her quilts to various schools, churches, and organizations. Her quilt for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta features a beautiful red, white, and blue design and fits a full or queen size bed.
By purchasing raffle tickets, you not only have a chance to win this stunning quilt, but you also support the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta, Yazoo City Club Site. The funds raised from the raffle will help provide vital resources and programs for local children and families.
Tickets are available for $2 each or six for $10, and can be purchased online or by contacting Unit Director Judy Abels at 662-763-8461 or by visiting the Club at 516 Canal St, Yazoo City, MS 39194. The drawing will take place on May 12, 2023, so be sure to get your tickets before it's too late!
In addition to purchasing tickets, you can also support the fundraiser by spreading the word and encouraging your friends and family to participate. And for those who can't participate in the raffle, consider making a donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta, Yazoo City Club Site to support their mission of helping children and families in the community.
